In 2017, there were NO local resources for DEAF individuals in the department of LEMPIRA, HONDURAS.
The majority of deaf individuals were NEVER given ACCESS to LANGUAGE. Many had no knowledge of their own name.
Without language the deaf were left without access to
THE GOSPEL.
Created in the image of God, EVERY human deserves access to LANGUAGE.
Through language we not only learn who we are, but more importantly, who HE IS.
This is why we seek to bring
LANGUAGE, COMMUNITY, & THE GOSPEL
to the deaf.
Through the gift of language we pray that they may, "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
